GETIT Presents a special Lunch/Learn event focusing on VM Ware, sponsored by CDW. Our speaker for this event is Scott Archer, Systems Engineer with VMWare.

Scott Archer has been a Systems Engineer with VMware since January of 2008 and has been an evangelist for VMware software in the state of Indiana.  He has over 15 years of experience representing software, consulting, security and infrastructure organizations.  Mr. Archer also served in the capacity of Chief Information Officer for a community banking organization, whose leverage of technology enabled it to compete with larger regional banks.  In his 4 years with VMware, Scott has received awards from Executive Management for his thought leadership and innovation, and has been recognized numerous times at the local level for his passion, his commitment, and his evangelism and most recently was recognized as VMware’s “SE of the Year” for 2011.  He is recognized by his peers as a dynamic speaker who works hard to understand technology, understand his customers, and find unique ways of relating the two.  Scott's areas of principle expertise are with VMware's Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery solutions as well as our vCloud portfolio.  Prior to VMware, Scott worked as a Architect for a firm specializing in security and identity management solutions.  Scott is a graduate of the School of Science at Purdue University (1996) with a degree in Computer Science.
